Meet Kayla
Rove Finery was born out of my love for genuine connection, intentionally made jewelry, while embracing life and all the imperfections that come with it…..oh, and horses!
I’ve been teaching myself how to create jewelry since 2015. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom to my 3 children and desperately needed a creative outlet. What started with traditional metal-smith techniques in a small garage corner, has morph into a full production of wax carving and casting taking up the majority of the basement.
Every piece is made with intention in hopes to create a genuine connection with its wearer. The designs embrace evidence of it being handmade and texture.
I am inspired by the idea of roving through life; around the idea that we all evolve through this beautiful chaotic life with missteps and successes so why not adorn ourselves with jewelry that represents the grit and imperfections during that journey.

My family is a huge part of Rove Finery. I met Colby, my college sweetheart, at The University of Alabama in 2008 where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education only to apply that knowledge to raising our 3 children. When the boys were babies, I utilized their bed time to teach myself the art of metal-smithing.
